Running with the Covenant House Home Team raises critical funds that allow Covenant House to offer 24/7 safety, shelter, and support to young people overcoming homelessness. By fundraising, runners become part of the solution for youth facing homelessness.
Race organizers require that runners with charity bibs meet certain fundraising requirements in order to participate. They also look at the fundraising totals to see which charities are maximizing the opportunity to raise funds for their mission, and may award more (or less) bibs in the future based on our totals. That's why we're here to help! Our fundraising tools include a step-by-step guide to get started, sample messages, and shareable content that make it easy (and fun!) to reach your goal. Runners are also paired with a personal fundraising coach who will create a strategy that works for you.
Your online fundraising page remains open for six weeks after your race, giving you additional time to reach your goal. In the rare event that a runner is not able to meet the minimum fundraising requirement for their race, they are responsible for making up the difference and their credit card may be charged. We will never charge your credit card without advance notification and communication about our full array of support tools.
