After listening to a local CBS news report on Covenant House and their efforts to support youth facing homelessness in NYC, I felt the call to put compassion into action. Please support my efforts to raise money for youth suffering from homelessness and now the volatility of COVID-19.

Covenant House provides loving care and vital services to homeless, abandoned, abused, trafficked, and exploited youth in 30 cities in the United States, Canada, and Central America. Covenant House programs provide young people with the support they need to leave the streets and achieve independence. In NYC alone there are over 114,000 students who identify themselves as homeless.

The rapid spread of COVID-19 has disrupted our routines and caused a palpable sense of unease to permeate our world. Homeless youth are even more vulnerable to the destabilizing consequences of this virus. Many of the young people at Covenant House arrive with a history of trauma and are in need of medical and emotional support.

Covenant House and the young people they serve need our support now more than ever. Together we can help Covenant House ensure that young people facing homelessness can find safety and sanctuary.
